What are Tags

A tag is a display label listed in the tag directory associated with your business division. Tags help visitors identify your business division and are created in the web dashboard where you can configure the destination settings based on the supported locations and languages.

For example, if you create a Tag with the name Marketing and Sales, it will be listed in the tag directory and will help visitors contact your Marketing division.

How to Set Tag Status

You can set the status of your tags to:

  • Active: this status will display the tag in your web widget
  • Suspended: this status will not display the tag in your web widget

To set the status of your tag:

  1. Navigate to the Tags interface from the navigation pane.
  2. At the right side of the Tags table, locate the Status column.
  3. Toggle the button to set the status - Active or Suspended.

How to View Tag Details

To view a tag:

  1. Navigate to the Tags interface from the navigation pane.
  2. To the right-hand side of a particular tag, click (vertical ellipsis) to open the menu.
  3. Click Tag Details.
  4. Tag Details will show with the Basic Settings section for the general function (call and/or chat), tag default name, tag in specific language, set destination, sticky routing settings and the generated web link for direct call and/or chat.

  1. Click Preview in a new window to view the tag settings and its actual interface

  1. Get the web link by QR Code, download the QR Code image or clicking Copy and share to your staff and customers. This Web Link is a short way for customers to open a tag directly without opening your company's web site.

Tips

Having web link and QR Code to direct call and chat a tag would bring easy way for your customers to connect to your staff. Attach the URL or the QR Code into your web page and any other channels your customer can reach you.

How to Edit a Tag

To edit a tag:

  1. Click Edit from Tag Details
  2. Update the details for the general function (call and/or chat), tag default name, tag in specific language, set destination, sticky routing on/off

  3. Click Save

Important Reminder

Changing tag's details will immediately take effect after saving. Ensure the timing of your update to avoid connection disruption between your staff and customers.

Editing the Order Number

  1. To the right-hand side of a particular tag, click the dotted icon (vertical ellipsis) to open the menu.
  2. Click Rearrange the order
  3. Under the Order column, enter the preferred order for the tag and press Enter.

How to Reorder Tags

You can change the order of the tags to appear

Drag and Drop

  • Click on the Tag name and drag it to the preferred order above or below.

How to Delete Tags

To delete a tag:

  1. To the right-hand side of a particular tag, click the dotted icon (vertical ellipsis) to open the menu.
  2. Click Delete Tag.
  3. A confirmation box appears stating if you want to delete the tag. Click Delete.
