Sign up for an OpenAI account

Create your OpenAI Account

  • Click Sign up to register for an OpenAI account.
  • Enter the email address required to register for the account.
  • Click Continue.

  • Enter your password.
  • Click Continue.

 

  • Open the email box you used to register for the account.
  • Click Verify email address for verification.

 

  • Fill in your First name, Last name, Organization name (optional) and Birthday.
  • Click Continue.

 

  • Enter the phone number for registration. Ensure you can receive the verification code sent from ChatGPT from this number.
  • If you have a WhatsApp Account, Click Yes. Otherwise, click No.
  • Click Send code via SMS.

 

  • Enter the 6-digit code you received from your registered phone number for authentication.
  • Click Resend code if you require OpenAI to resend you the code.

Now, your OpenAI account is successfully created.

 

Create an OpenAI API Key for Integrating with CINNOX

  • Log in to the OpenAI Platform page using the login credentials of the OpenAI account.
  • Click the right-hand top corner and select View API keys.

 

  • Click + Create new secret key.
  • It is optional to name the new key. After naming the new key, click Create secret key.

 

  • Click the Copy icon to copy the key. This key is displayed only once; you cannot view it again through your OpenAI account. Please save the key if necessary.
  • Click Done to close the pop-up window when you copy the key.

 

  • From the CINNOX Dashboard, navigate to Administration>Service Integration>Third Party Integration.
  • Click the arrow on the right side of the OpenAI.
  • Toggle on the Enable OpenAI
  • Click Edit for Connect OpenAI.
  • Input the Key and click Save

  • One token is approximately equivalent to 4 characters of text in common English. This translates to roughly 0.75 words, so 100 tokens are approximately equivalent to 75 words. To understand how a piece of text would be tokenised and determine the total token count, please use the Tokeniser.
